Prices -

$35 per vehicle; $30 per snowmobile / motorcycle; $20 per visitor 16 and older on foot, bike, and ski. Fee grants 7-day access to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Annual passes are available for $70.

 Hours vary for each section during each month. July and August offer 24 hours access, weather permitting.

What is there to do in Yellowstone National Park?

Covering nearly 3,500 square miles, Yellowstone National Park offers plenty of outdoor recreation with scenic vistas and wildlife to view. Where is Yellowstone National Park located?

Yellowstone National Park spans 2.2 million acres across three northwestern states, with 96% located in Wyoming, 1% in Idaho, and 3% in Montana. With five entrances, the official address is located in Wyoming. Montana has two entrances; the north entrance will bring you to Mammoth Hot Springs and the northeastern entrance will take you right to Beartooth Pass for the best wildlife viewing around.

How often does Old Faithful go off?

The famous geyser, Old Faithful, erupts every 35 to 120 minutes for about 90 seconds to 5 minutes around 20 times a day. Its maximum height ranges from 90 to 184 feet, expelling between 3,700 gallons to 8,400 gallons of scalding hot water each time. The steam temperature has been measured above 350°F.
