With over 125 majors, 60 areas of study, and 40 master's programs, MSU draws in both Montana residents and out-of-state students to study arts & architecture, education, agriculture, business, health & human development, engineering, science, and nursing. Home to the Museum of the Rockies and its extensive collection of dinosaur fossils, MSU is dedicated to its science research as well as the Plant Growth Center and the Center for Bison and Wildlife.

 Guided Walking Tours: Monday through Friday at 9 am and 2 pm. The welcome center is open weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm.
